I’m a freelance writer, ultrarunner, and MA in Anthropology candidate. I spent the first two decades of my life in Vancouver, British Columbia, before moving to San Diego where I completed my BA in Creative Writing and, after, my MFA in Writing from Vermont College of Fine Arts. I now live in Bellingham, WA, where I spend my free time running, hiking, bird watching, gardening, and working on my Masters in Anthropology. I write a wide variety of articles, including features, interviews, human-interest pieces, research-based posts, and listicles. Much of my writing is based on my personal travels and experiences as a long-distance runner. Additionally, I am working on an historical fiction novel set in San Diego in the 1930s.
